Announcements Management
📝 The Announcements Management section in GMS allows staff to create, update, filter, and publish announcements or informational Announcements for guests. This feature helps you keep your guests informed and engaged through the AvantEase Guest App.
📍 Accessing Announcements​

Log in to the GMS dashboard.

In the sidebar menu, click on "Announcements" to access the Announcements main view.

You’ll see a grid of announcement cards, each displaying key information:
- Title
- Subtitle (if available)
- Description (if available)
- Dates (if available)
- Location (if available)
- Status (Published/Unpublished)


🔍 Searching, Filtering Announcements, and Pagination​

Use the search bar to find Announcements by title.

Click the filter icon on the top right to open the filter popup:
- Filter by Category
- Filter by Status

Click "Apply" to activate the selected filters.

To remove filters:
- Click "Clear All"
- Or reopen the filter popup and manually deselect filters.

Navigate through pages using pagination controls at the bottom.

➕ Creating a New Announcement​

Click the "Add Announcement" button.

A form popup will appear.

Fill in the required fields (e.g., title, content, category, etc.).

Click "Create" to publish or save the announcement.

⚙️ Managing Existing Announcements​
Each announcement card includes a "More" icon (three vertical dots) for announcement-specific actions:

View – Opens a popup displaying the full announcement details.

Edit – Opens the announcement form pre-filled with existing data.

Make any changes and click "Update" to save.

Delete – Select "Delete" from the dropdown.
-
A confirmation popup will appear—click "Confirm" to delete the announcement.

📢 Publishing and Unpublishing Announcements​

Use the toggle switch at the bottom of a announcement card to publish or unpublish a announcement.

A confirmation popup will appear—click "Confirm" to proceed.

Published announcements are visible to guests through the Guest App, while unpublished announcements remain hidden.

📱 How Guests View Announcements in the Mobile App​
Once a announcement is published, it becomes visible to users through the AvantEase Guest App. Here’s how your guests will experience announcements:

Announcements on the app When a guest logs into the app and they are on the home page, they can click the Explore card to navigate to the page, and there they will see a carousel (slide view) of all published announcements, each displaying the main information such as the title, date, and location.

Viewing Announcement Details When a guest taps on a announcement, they are taken to a detailed view that may include:

The full content of the announcement

A location icon button that links to the location, if configured in the admin panel.

Images or media associated with the announcement

A Call-to-Action (CTA) button at the bottom, if configured in the admin panel. This button reflects the CTA title and link set by the staff (e.g., "Reserve Now", "Learn More") and allows guests to take direct action.

An Enquiry button at the bottom, to send a message to the staff.

📱 How Guests View Announcements in the Tablet App​

Announcements Interaction
- When the guest enquires about an announcement, a message is received in the admin chat so the staff can provide them with more details.

This flow ensures that guests not only receive key updates but can also interact with announcements in meaningful ways, improving communication and engagement.
