Rooms and Tablet App
🔐 The Room Control App allows hotel guests or staff to control in-room features (e.g., lighting, climate, entertainment) via a tablet. To access this control center, a unique room code must be generated and used to authenticate the tablet.
* Who Can Generate Room Codes?
Only managers or staff members with manage room tokens permissions can generate and manage room codes.
🔐 Steps to Generate a Room Code

Log in to the hotel management dashboard.

From the sidebar, click on "Rooms" to access the list of all hotel rooms.

Use the available tools on the rooms table to:

Search for specific rooms by name or number.

Show or hide columns to customize the table view.

Navigate through pages using pagination controls at the bottom.

In the row of the desired room, click the Room/Home Wifi icon.

From the dropdown menu, select "Room Code".

A popup will open, click the "Generate" button to create a new, unique room code.

Click the "Copy" icon to copy the generated code to your clipboard.
🔄 Regenerating or Deleting Room Codes (Tablet Logout & Re-authentication)
This process allows staff to log out a tablet from the Room Control App, re authenticate it with a new code, or delete an existing room token. It's useful when preparing a room for a new guest or revoking access from a previously authenticated device.
How to Regenerate or Delete a Room Token:

Access the Room Code Menu Follow the same steps described earlier to navigate to the Rooms list view, then click the Room/Home Wifi on the desired room and select "Room Code".

Regenerate the Room Code
- Click the "Regenerate" button.
- A new code will be generated, and the current tablet session will remain active for 15 minutes before automatically logging out.
- The tablet can then be re-authenticated using the new code.

Delete the Room Code

Click the "Delete" button to invalidate the existing code.

The Room Control App on the tablet will automatically log out after 15 minutes.

This ensures the room is secure and no longer accessible through the previously used code.

Go back to the tablet app and you will be redirected to the login screen
💻 Logging in on the Room Tablet

On the in-room tablet, open the Room Control App by visiting:
https://{guest-app}/room-control-center -
Paste the copied room code into the login input. You can also add the sub room number to access it.

Tap the "Login" button.

- You’ll now be authenticated and logged in to the tablet app and viewing the home page.

- At the top of the screen you can the language selector which allows you to change the app language, a chat button that navigates you to the chat page, and a request call back button which send an immediate message to the staff.

💻 Sidebar scenes and devices
- On the left sidebar you can control the room scenes by clicking on them and control room curtains using the buttons.

🛋️ Controlling Smart Devices Across Room Areas
You can navigate to the controls page by clicking on the Room Controls button.
The Room Control App offers intuitive control over various smart devices within a hotel room. Whether it's lighting, air conditioning, or privacy settings, guests and staff can manage devices seamlessly across different subareas or zones.
You can navigate back to the home page using the Home button.

Basic Device Controls In each area, you’ll see interactive cards for smart devices:

Turn lights or AC on/off

Open or close curtains and blinds

Advanced Light Controls

Some lights offer extended settings. Turning on a light will display more controls that allow you to:

Change light color

Dim or enhance the light intensity

Air Conditioning Settings

Turning on the AC will allow you to:

Adjust the temperature

Set modes (cool, heat, fan, etc.)

Control fan speed (if available)

Home Page Overview
In the first row of the home page content you can:
-
Control the Room Door Lock On the Overview page, you can slide the lock toggle to Lock or unlock the room door remotely.

Set Room Status to “Do Not Disturb” A quick toggle is available on the Overview page to set the room status to Do Not Disturb, signaling staff to avoid interruptions.

Dine With Us By clicking on the Order now button you are rediected to the orders page where you can start ordering from the hotel menus.

💬 Chat with your hosts & request services
You can chat with the staff by clicking on the Chat button in the side navigation menu.

You can also request services by clicking on the services boxes placed above the text area. Or by clicking on the services card in the home page.

A popup will appear with a form where you can set the date and time you prefer.

The service you request will appear in the chat, you can see the status and you can edit or cancel a pending request using the buttons in the request card.

In the main content of the home page you can see a grid of cards that will redirect you to other pages (which will be covered in more detail in other sections)
